Additionally, as the website hosting platform, the company Squarespace, Inc. also has access to data as a ‘data controller’, as functional cookies are used in order to make sure the website functions properly. Contractor Joseph Haynes also has access to data as a ‘data controller’, with the specific reasoning of maintaining and updating the website.

This website is designed to does utilise as little data as possible. Therefore, all explicit interactive fields that are possible between Southorpe Parish Council and you are prohibited.
All communications with numbers & emails displayed on this website are for personal reasons only - the only time this will be shared with anyone else other than the person you are contacting is when you specifically ask to do so, or agree to share this information with a member of the council. Explicit permission will always be given, but this is outside the confines of the website.

Whilst data collected here is believed to be as secure as possible, especially internally within the Council, online information can never be stored with 100% security. We do not knowingly collect information about children under the age of 13. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under the age of 13, we ask that you contact us immediately at ‘southorpeclerk@gmail.com’ so that we can delete this information. Should we require the information about a child under the age of 13 for any legal reason that is exceptional to GDPR compliance, we will request the parent/guardian’s permission before doing so. Otherwise, we strive to delete all information about children under the age of 13.

We reserve the right to update and change this website over time. We ask that those that provide data review this privacy policy periodically. When it is necessary, we will let you know that our Privacy Policy has changed.
